Begin your journey with a convenient pickup from your Marrakech hotel or riad. Drive through the scenic Righaya Valley, where you’ll pass terraced landscapes, Moulay Brahim gorges, and the Asni Market (available on Saturdays). Optionally, visit a women’s cooperative in Tahnaout to learn about local artisan products.
Upon arriving in Imlil, a charming mountain village often referred to as the “Little Chamonix of the Atlas Mountains,” set out on a guided hike through the picturesque villages of Arghen and Mzzik. Along the way, stop at a local family’s house for refreshing mint tea and nuts, a gesture of Berber hospitality.
Continue hiking through walnut groves and terraced landscapes to reach the stunning waterfalls. Take in breathtaking views of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak, while your guide shares stories about Berber culture, traditions, and daily life.
