Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Marrakech. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Travel through the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the Atlas Mountains. Visit Telouet Kasbah and the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, where you can explore Kasbah Taourirt and, optionally, the movie studios.
Day 3: Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Sahara Desert
Journey through the Roses Valley and Dades Valley before reaching the dramatic Todra Gorges. Pass through Erfoud to the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel ride to watch the sunset and spend the night in a Berber camp under the stars.
Day 4: Sahara Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fes
Leave the desert and travel through the Ziz Valley’s lush palm groves. Stop in Midelt for lunch, visit the cedar forests of Azrou, and meet the Barbary monkeys. Continue to Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” before arriving in Fes for the night.
Day 5: Explore Fes
Discover Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. Visit the Royal Palace, the Mellah (Jewish Quarter), the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the Tanneries, and the panoramic viewpoint over the medina. Enjoy the intricate artistry of this historical city.
Day 6: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
Depart for Meknes, where you’ll explore the city gates, stables, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis for a glimpse of ancient history before heading to Chefchaouen, the enchanting blue city nestled in the Rif Mountains.
Day 7: Chefchaouen – Tetouan – Tangier
Enjoy a morning exploring Chefchaouen’s blue-washed streets. Continue through the Rif Mountains to Tetouan, then onward to Tangier. Spend the evening exploring this historic port city on the Strait of Gibraltar.
Day 8: Tangier – Asilah – Rabat – Casablanca
Visit Tangier’s landmarks, including Cap Spartel and the Hercules Caves. Stop in Asilah, known for its artsy charm, then proceed to Rabat to see the Kasbah of the Udayas and Hassan Tower. Arrive in Casablanca for the night.
Day 9: Casablanca – Marrakech
Conclude your tour with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world. You’ll then transfer to Marrakech or the airport for your departure.
